A beautiful garden

Hi there! I am posting the pictures of this garden that I just found so inspiring. It was featured in one of the latest issues of El Mueble magazine and I really liked. As most of you do not have this magazine where you live, I thought about sharing. What do you think? I hope you like the pictures as much as I do!

I love how every corner of this garden feels so cozy and peaceful, calming, relaxed, serene... Is any other adjective necessary to describe it?

The designs of Jesús Ibáñez are always simple and organized, and he tries to handle different shades of green.



Every single member in the owner's family of this house has a favorite corner in this garden: for reading, chatting or resting.

When the family plan a party for the night, the magic of the lights and candles takes over all the garden: paths of candles lead the way; hundreds of lanterns and lamps that light every corner with a faint glow...

... The space transforms: the shapes of the trees dissappear and lights and shadows appear. Colors cede the spotlight to fragrances and golden reflections, and the night breeze and sounds offer an unbelievable experience.

I did it again

Yeah, I did... Once again I abandoned my blog for some time. I am so sorry, but I am usually busy with a million things.

So, how is your Christmas Holiday going? Mine is good, just as it is usually. You know, spend time with Family, friends, having fun together... And, of course, one of the parts that is actually more fun... Holiday Decorating! =D

The other day, as I was walking on the Street, I saw these stunning windows of a Flower Shop in my city, mostly made with products from the brand Sia Home Fashion. When I pass by, I usually stand there for a while to admire the decorations. By Christmas Time, the window decorations are even more beautiful, so I took the chance to take some pictures with my cell that I thought I would share with you. I hope you like them! =)

I NEED this crystal candelabra... Unfortunately, it costs 480€ (hand-carved crystal...) and I cannot afford it currently... =(

My Art

Some days ago, one friend asked me to take some photos of my artwork (yes, I paint). I did, and I thought I could share the pictures with all of you as well. I must say they're not a great thing, they're not so beautiful because I have been painting since I was 8 years old and started copying famous paintings. Anyway, I hope you like them and I would like to know your opinions about them. These are just some, I will post more pictures (I have a few more, and several to be taken) some other day.

So, what's keeping me so busy?

Ok, I have been busy attending some courses and lectures at University to finally get my degree.

Also, speaking about home I am still stripping paint from the bathroom door; it had a lot of layers and it is not a quick or easy job... But the result is worth it (I know because I already did it with some other doors in my house)! I'm stripping off an ivory-yellow coat, several different shades of white coats and a varnish coat, at least. Moreover, the yellow-ivory coat is a glossy enamel... It looks so ugly. I have chosen a coconut-white satin-matte finish enamel, which gives them a much better look. I have to take pictures to show them off, definitely!

Today I am updating with some photos of my uncle and aunt's diningroom:

The vases, flowers and seashell are some gifts I gave her for her Birthday. She used to have an old-fashioned flower arrangement on the table and she wanted to change it, so I thought that would be a good idea.

The painting you "can see" in the pictures was made by me some time ago.

The ceiling lamp was designed by me as well. She wanted to install recessed lighting in the dining room ceiling and she didn't want a hanging lamp over the table, but I advised her to put a simple one. So, having the rest of the color palette, I recommended them the color for the shade, and also the texture and the type of fabric.

The white cabinet is also my design. The grey velvet chairs were chosen by me, too. The table is old, but they didn't want to get rid of it. The color of the cabinet wall was chosen by my aunt in the beginning, before anything else.

Oh, and the big seashell has got inside a purple amethyste and some mother-of-pearl, beige and purple smaller seashells (these were also my gift).
